Zan Emerson is a New York-based craftsman who graduated with a degree in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from Skidmore College.
Following graduation, they worked in the NYC live music industry for 15 years across marketing, branding, and operations for some of the most notable club-level performances of the period. During this time, they self-taught as a graphic designer, gaining recognition as Village Voice’s “Best Concert Poster Designer” of 2015.
In 2022, they returned to metalsmithing and subsequently left the music industry in 2023. They now dedicate much of their time to advancing their creative practice along with working as a direct support professional.
